How to apply for the Youth Building the Future?

The Mexican government's Youth Building the Future program will help many young people who want to have their first work experience.

Young People Building the Future It is a way to facilitate the entry of young people into the job market. Participating companies can provide opportunities to various young people so that they can train while carrying out a work activity.

In the end, they will be prepared for the job market and will be able to be hired by the same companies or by others and will also have support from the program while they look for a new opportunity in the market.

For this, the government grants a scholarship of 6,310 Mexican pesos for 12 months, corresponding to the value of the minimum wage in Mexico, and also provides medical insurance through the Mexican Social Security Institute.

As a result so far, the data obtained from the study carried out by the National Minimum Wages Commission on the effect of the program during the pandemic, from September 2021, states that:

  • More than 46% of the program's graduates found employment after training;
  • The possibility of access to health had an increase of more than 20%;
  • 5 in 10 young people will find a job after the pandemic.
