How to Apply for the Temporary Employment Program?

The Temporary Employment Program is a way to help people who have a job obtain a personal income.

This program is important and offers advantages, mainly by guaranteeing that people over 16 years of age can do a job and have guaranteed income for a period of three months.

This ensures economic stability for a time while the person looks for a permanent job and better living conditions.

We emphasize that this aid from the Mexican government is important because it promotes the well-being of families in vulnerable situations.

The body that takes care of this program is the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources and, in order for you to be part and join, it is very important that you know the main requirements and have the documents required for registration.

Know the requirements to request this help

A. For financial support applicants who wish to join an existing project:

  • Current document proving that you are 16 years old or older (original and copy): Unique Population Registry Code (CURP); birth certificate

Voting credential (valid); National Military Service Card; Valid passport); Credential from the National Institute of Older Persons (Inapam); Professional Certificate.

  • Request for support in free writing that contains: Place, date and full name of the applicant(s); manifestation of agreement to assume co-responsibility within the development of a project; signature or fingerprint of the applicants;
  • Letter of record under protest of telling the truth that the beneficiary is not participating simultaneously in more than one PET project and has not received more than 132 wages for his or her work in the Temporary Employment Program;
  • Proof of address or letter of residence

B. For financial support applicants who present a new project.

Submit an original and a copy of a free document for the execution of a Temporary Employment Program project that must contain at least:

  • Name of the municipality and locality where the execution of the project is proposed.
  • Brief description of the project to be carried out
  • Full name of the interested party or person representing the project applicants and their signature or fingerprint, if applicable.

As well as original and copy of the following:

  • Minutes of the community committee stating the community's agreement with the proposed project;
  • Executive Project;
  • Scheduled Work Program;
  • Location sketch of the work;
  • Total project budget detailed by concept of work or action, goals to be achieved;
  • Photographs of the current state of the work.
