The government offers a monthly scholarship of $6,310 Mexican pesos and medical insurance through the Mexican Social Security Institute.

In 2023, nearly 480,000 young people will be selected, who will be able to choose the area they want to work according to their interest and level of schooling.

What happens when the training ends?

When the 12 months of training are over, there are a few options for what to pass. The first of them is that the Work Center where you worked will generate a certificate of training through its Digital platform, which must indicate some important information, such as:

  • The technical skills that the young man acquired as an apprentice;
  • The area of interest of the plan;
  • The type of training offered.

After that, the young person will be able to access the platform, view and download that certificate, which will serve as an official document that endorses a period of one year of work experience.

When applying for a new job, you will be able to validate all your technical skills as a worker through this document.

A second option is that, once your training is completed, the Job Center will be able to hire you, if they are interested. This will depend on the skills and performance that the participant demonstrates during the training period.
