What is the Pension for Well-being Program for People with Permanent Disabilities? We explain everything you need to know

This program is a government intervention in Mexico aimed at providing more systematic and consistent financial support to individuals with disabilities of different age groups throughout the country, promoting social inclusion and improved quality of life for these individuals.

All disabled individuals of different ages can take part in the program. It aims to reach marginalized individuals living in various locations, such as indigenous and Afro-Mexican communities.

Considering that the economic, social, cultural, and health situation of people with disabilities can limit their comprehensive development, the Mexican Government is seeking to improve the financial income of these individuals with a bi-monthly support of $4,812 Mexican pesos, thanks to the law approved in 2019 within the framework of the National Planning System aligned with the National Development Plan 2019-2024.
