How to apply for the Cultural Bonus of 400 Euros?

The Cultural Voucher of 400 euros was approved in 2022 and will provide assistance for 18-year-old individuals to start appreciating and consuming more culture in general. Beneficiaries will have one year to use the money.

The aim behind all this is also to help the cultural sector regain strength after being weakened by the pandemic. In other words, the country believes that young people are the hope to revitalize that area.

That is why, in total, it is estimated that at least 500,000 young people from across the country will be able to benefit from this financial and cultural assistance.

It is believed that the total amount of investment from the General State Budgets is 210 million euros.

Who is eligible for this assistance?

Young people who turn 18 in this year of 2023, that is, those who turned 18 last year and will turn 19 this year, are no longer eligible for the program and will not be able to receive it.

Be born in Spain, be a legal resident in Spain, asylum seeker, or former ward.

Where can I use the Cultural Bonus of 400 euros?

This voucher can be used in various stores and entities that are part of the program. Therefore, the voucher can be used throughout Spain. To make the process easier, you can locate these establishments through the app and the official website of the Youth Cultural Voucher, which you can access via this link.

It is already known that there is information indicating that there are over 2,934 affiliated companies and more than 3,000 sales points spread across various cities, either physically or online.

For this reason, it is important to highlight that the Youth Cultural Voucher of 400 euros only works in all those commercial establishments, companies, and any other physical or virtual stores that are part of the program.

In other words, if your favorite store is not listed, feel free to encourage them to apply for membership while registrations are still open for businesses.

How do I request my benefit?

The benefit is requested 100% online, on the page of the Youth Cultural Bonus of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. The deadline is open until September 30th.

– Order it yourself: from June 13th to September 30th, you can request it yourself through the website using the cl@ve and basic or advanced registration or digital certificate.

– If you are already 18 years old at the time of applying for the bonus, then you can do so through any of the digital identification methods. It is recommended to use Cl@ve with basic registration, which you can request and obtain via video call.

If you haven’t turned 18 at the time of applying for the bonus, you can only request Cl@ve with advanced registration and you must do it in person at an office. Instructions are available on the official website.
